BioBinders

Using carbon sequestering bio binders, bio materials and minerals to stabilize the base layer, bind dust and upgrade roadsides, instead of traditional fossil & cement binders.

Our biobinding technologies reinforce the road’s stabilizing layer, increasing load-bearing capacity by up to 350%.

Smarter Materials for Stronger, Climate-Resilient Roads

Our Biobinders do more than replace fossil-based bitumen—they transform the performance and environmental impact of road infrastructure. We use various non toxic additives in our mix design to improve the performance of our roads.

Engineered to perform in both extreme heat and sub-zero conditions, the binder mix binds fine particles to suppress dust and prevent erosion, helping roads endure the stresses of temperature swings, heavy traffic, and seasonal weather.

Crushing and BioBinders produce stronger roads

To enhance durability and resilience, we enrich the binder with biogenic additives, including biochar, a carbon-rich material that improves structural integrity, increases moisture resistance, and enhances the binding of aggregates. These natural reinforcements also contribute to carbon storage, locking CO2 into the road rather than releasing it into the atmosphere.

We look at roads as ecosystems that can sequester carbon. For instance, road shoulders are passive and need to be put to work. We are utilizing Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW) to further increase carbon sequestration for customers looking for large scale carbon removal projects.

Our mix design is adaptable and tailored to local conditions. Whether it’s frost-prone rural roads in the north, high-temperature zones in the south, or high-rainfall coastal areas, our formulations can be optimized for regional soil types, climatic challenges, and specific performance goals
