Carbon Crusher is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to energize our sales efforts in the United States.

As an SDR at Carbon Crusher, your role will be critical in generating new business opportunities by engaging with potential clients and sparking their interest in our sustainable road solutions. You will be the first point of contact for many of our prospective clients, making it your mission to communicate our value proposition effectively and to qualify leads that will contribute to our growth. Working closely with the sales and marketing teams, you’ll help develop and execute strategies that drive our mission forward.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and research potential clients, identify stakeholders, generate interest and develop accounts.
  • Engage prospects through email, phone, and LinkedIn with the goal of setting a sales-qualified opportunity.
  • Creatively engage potential prospects with tailored value proposition messaging and follow-up communications.
  • Schedule meetings between potential clients and the sales team, preparing both parties with the necessary information to ensure productive discussions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with potential clients in our CRM system (Hubspot), tracking progress and ensuring visibility of lead status.
  • Work with sales leaders to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, refining strategies along the way.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert in road maintenance and Carbon Crusher’s method.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and sales leadership, refining our messaging, process and product.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A driven individual with a keen interest in sustainability and a desire to make a difference through their work.
  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is preferred, with a track record of achieving sales or performance targets.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and convey value propositions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and intrigue potential clients. Fluent in English.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously without losing sight of priorities.
  • A natural collaborator who thrives in a team environment but is also capable of working independently.
  • A learner’s mindset, open to coaching, feedback, and continuous personal and professional development.

It’s a plus if you:

  • Have worked at a road construction company
  • Have previously worked as an SDR for 1+ years
  • Are proficient with CRM systems and/or Linkedin Sales Navigator
