Carbon Crusher is actively seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in the United States.

As a Technical Sales Specialist at Carbon Crusher, you will not only utilize your comprehensive technical knowledge of road construction and maintenance to communicate the advantages of our innovative road rehabilitation methods to potential clients but also play a crucial role in our ongoing efforts to validate and refine our approach. As we expand our operations in the U.S., a significant part of your role involves overseeing and contributing to the extensive testing of all our new roads. This rigorous data collection and analysis are instrumental in enhancing our sales strategies and building trust with our clients by providing concrete evidence of the effectiveness and sustainability of our solutions. Your role, therefore, extends beyond traditional sales responsibilities to include a vital research component, such as collaborating with the product team on new studies and coordinating with third-party research teams on projects. By blending your sales acumen with a strong focus on research and data-driven validation, you will help pave the way for Carbon Crusher's success in the U.S. market, advancing our mission and establishing our reputation as leaders in sustainable road construction.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Become the regional technical subject matter expert on the Carbon Crusher method and its development, and continuously maintain the expertise.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, understanding their needs and providing tailored technical solutions.
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations of Carbon Crusher’s solutions to potential clients, highlighting the technical advantages and sustainability benefits.
  • Collaborate with the sales and product teams to ensure proposals meet both client needs and company standards.
  • Be all over the data - make intelligent decisions backed up by qualified insights and market data
  • Attend networking events and tradeshows to present the technical information on our product.
  • Travel to meet with potential and existing clients to conduct sales meetings and road inspections.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline and engaging in proactive client outreach.

What we’re looking for:

  • Deep technical knowledge of road construction and maintenance processes.
  • 3+ years experience in a technical sales role, preferably within the road, construction, infrastructure, and/or civil engineering industries.
  • Experience with the public sector and applying for bids/procurement.
  • You have the ability to turn complex technical concepts into language that is easily understandable by a diverse audience, ensuring both comprehension and engagement.
  • You take an analytical, hypothesis-based approach to problem-solving.
  • You are curious and want to understand how things work so that you can make them better.
  • You can break down problems and identify where to start in order to quickly deliver solutions and impact.
  • You possess strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, enabling you to develop and maintain humble, trusting, and long-term partnerships with both customers and colleagues.
  • You are hands-on and willing to do what is needed to help the team.
  • A passionate commitment to the principles of sustainability and environmental responsibility, aligning with Carbon Crusher’s mission.
  • A bachelor or master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Must have a full driver license, own car is preferred.

It’s a plus if you:

  • Have experience in the road, infrastructure, construction and/or civil engineering sectors
  • Have experience working with public sector customers and/or the Department of Transport
  • Have a network in the road or public sector
  • Are highly proficient with excel and CRM systems
