Our method
Say goodbye to old, worn-out roads and welcome a future where road rehabilitation doesn't have to come at the cost of our environment.
Incorporating three core principles—recyclability, waste reuse, and sustainability—Carbon Crusher offers a pioneering approach to road repair. Our specialised Crusher takes old gravel and asphalt roads and transforms them into a revitalised foundation, all without the need for new materials. Once the existing road is pulverised into small particles, we apply our unique Biobinder—a sustainable byproduct of the paper industry—to secure this new base layer. The end result? A road that's not just stronger and more enduring than those created through conventional means, but one that supports the environment by sequestering 1 ton of CO₂ for every 60 feet repaired.
What sets us apart (USPs)
Sustainability: Our process is not just carbon-neutral—it's carbon-negative. We turn waste into usable materials, thus preserving natural resources and removing carbon from the atmosphere.
Durability: Our process enhances the structural integrity of the road, offering an extended lifespan 15+ years and reduced maintenance costs in the long run.
Cost-Effectiveness: Carbon Crusher's method cuts down on both material and labour costs. By reusing existing road material, we eliminate the need for importing new resources, making the overall process more economical and sustainable.
Scalability: We cater to both public and private sectors, including municipalities, counties, and industries such as mining, energy, forestry/logging, agriculture, oil, and private road owners. Whether it's a single rural road or an expansive industrial network, our approach is scalable to meet varying needs.
CRAAS (Crushing as a Service): To expedite the adoption of sustainable road-making methods, we also offer Crushing as a Service. We provide partner construction companies with our Crusher, Biobinder, and the essential training to execute our method effectively.
SkyRoads: Our upcoming pavement management system will enable road owners to accurately predict road deterioration, effectively plan, monitor, and manage their roads in real-time. This technology empowers stakeholders to make optimal decisions for road maintenance.
