Carbon Rover - Meet the Future of Regenerative Roads

Carbon Crusher presents the Carbon Rover - our next-generation, AI-enabled road recycling machine that redefines how we build and maintain infrastructure.

The Rover crushes and recycles damaged roads, strengthening and stabilizing them with biogenic carbon - all in a single, data-driven process with step-change efficiency.

It might not be Mars, but the Norwegian mountains are not far off.

The result: Up to 4x stronger and longer lasting roads, at a significantly lower cost to the infrastructure owner, with a net negative carbon footprint per yard of road regenerated. This means infrastructure owners no longer have to choose between performance, price and climate.

The Rover hard at work at its first commercial project.

A fleet of autonomous Rovers enables scale. Three Rovers operating “as one” side-by-side, can crush and stabilize miles of road over a night shift, a job that once took 4 - 5 days, a game changer in efficiency for road owners and contractors with refurbishment needs, worldwide.

Here is why we are so excited. The Rover is:
  • Semi-autonomous & unmanned: Designed for full autonomy from next year
  • Built-for-purpose: Combines multiple operations into one efficient system
  • Crabwalk mobility and improved weight distribution: Enhanced precision, dynamic speed adjustment, and adaptability across terrain
  • Intelligent: Automatic monitoring, reporting and verification, enabled by sensors and the CC SkyRoads generative AI system
  • Twice as fast: One Rover performing eight hours of work in just four
  • Fleet-operating: Multiple Rovers covering more ground working “as one” side by side
  • Economical: Modular and cost competitive
Our method has been validated across five countries -  from arctic Norway to the scorching Arizonan desert - and with the Rover hardware leap, we’re ready to scale.

We bring a complete, integrated system to the market: the Rover, our suite of BioBinders, and SkyRoads AI. Delivered through our recurring CRAAS (Crushing and Refurbishment as-a-Service) model, this approach enables contractors and road owners anywhere in the world to upgrade and decarbonize road networks.

At Carbon Crusher, we are on a mission to regenerate the world’s road network. Roads span over 40 million miles worldwide - and we can upgrade them while turning this massive real estate into active carbon sinks: A fleet of just six Carbon Rovers, each currently capable of sequestering up to 940 tons of CO₂ equivalent per day, could - at just 50% utilization - remove 1 megaton of CO₂, within two years.
